Fred Minnick and members of his Club Marzipan selected this barrel during Fred’s visit and book signing event at Whiskey Acres in August. Only 230 bottles available.

Tasting notes: Bold and assertive nose of toasted oak, sweet baking spices, and coconut shavings layered over vanilla custard and cherries. Broad and full-bodied on the palate, caramel corn is in charge initially before layers of warm oak, cinnamon, and roasted peanuts emerge giving depth and balance. A balancing dose of sweetness emerges in the finish highlighted by cherry syrup, honeyed cornbread, and a dash of nutmeg.
